Meet Marina Pellegrini: the newest member of our team
A big wine-filled welcome to the newest member of our Novel Wines team, Marina Pellegrini, who joined us as our Sales & Marketing Intern.
Marina started working for Novel Wines at the beginning of May and has been an excellent asset to our growing business. We have thrown Marina into the deep end from day one and she has risen to the challenge brilliantly.
After her internship, Marina will join us part-time as our Sales & Marketing Assistant in July.
Marina said: "Having no experience in the wine trade but only a keen curiosity and interest, I started my first day at Novel Wines at the Glass of Bubbly fizz tasting in Mayfair. This was the best possible introduction to the trade, showcasing the friendly and open attitude of people in the industry, all accompanied by excellent wines to taste.
"Since then, I've gotten involved with wine tastings, networking events and business fairs, as well as compiling the Novel Wines Grapes Dictionary, which let me research and explore grape varieties and wine growing regions from all around the globe.
"My work for Novel Wines has so far been a great experience, developing my creative and marketing skills. I'm looking forward to continuing my journey and I cannot wait to see what weird and wonderful wines we will be adding to our wine list in the future!"
