Coming from the small village Lašići, slightly inland from the West coast of Istria, Pilato has made a wonderful white wine made from Malvazija, an indigenous Croatian grape, which won a gold medal at the IWSC awards 2019, with a score of 95 points.
The perfect combination of location, perfect climate, fermented in Oak barrels (mix of new and old) and then the wine being matured on the primary lees for 4 months has created an intense white wine full of apricots, vanilla, butter and citrus fruits.
