This indigenous white variety is unique in the Minis wine-region. Maderat belongs to the northern part of the wine region. The Mustoasa de Maderat, also know as Magyarádi Fehér in Hungary, is made in a reductive way by cold fermentation between 12 and 14°C. This bright yellow coloured wine has fresh, floral aromas with stone fruits and hints of ginger. The taste is ample, generous, warm and ripe with notes of green apple and quince, well-balanced with citrus flavours. The crisp acidity also makes it a wonderful food partner.
