Winter favourite savings
Single vineyard Kekfrankos grown on a unique mix of tough clay, basalt, tuff and limestone. This red is all about the terroir, evoking fresh, ripe red berries, plum and a fine tannin. Barrel matured for 10 months giving hints of vanilla, cocoa and a soft texture. Vinified by Tamas Kovacs.
Pairs beautifully with: Lamb chops with new potatoes, lasagne, or a delicious burrito.
Cheese pairing: Camembert, smoked goat's cheese or Morbier blue.
