Electric Bear gets its name from the old Bear Brewery that stood on the corner of Wellsway in Bath, while the Electric derives from how they power their brewhouse kettle - the "Copper", used to boil the wort during brewing. Chris Lewis founded the brewery as a passionate home brewer and with the aim of escaping his garage. The team he has built around him are all home brewers and passionate about making things. The aim is to create all styles of beer that consistently taste great.
