Inspired by the great domaines of Burgundy grown on limestone soil, Jensen set out in search for the perfect spot in California to create his unique wines. He went off the grid and planted his vines on the site of an old limekiln in the Gavilan Mountains of California's Central Coast. Today, Calera wines are critically acclaimed the world over.
