Bussay is a small winery and estate based in Zala in the wine region of Balaton, western Hungary. Dr Dori Bussay continues the legacy of her father, Laszlo Bussay, who established the estate in 1988. Among her wines, she is reviving relatively forgotten indigenous varieties like Csókaszőlő, as well as introducing international grapes like Pinot Noir that are perfectly suited to the region. Her wines are characterful, often elegant, and illustrate another side of Hungary's broad winemaking scene.
