Burning Barn is named after the family's barn, which tragically burned down in September 2015. However, the family were motivated by the disaster to set about creating a true craft offering for rum drinkers. Inspired by the tragedy, their first rum was smoked using their father's apple trees, planted on the family farm over 30 years ago.
