Anton Finkenauer
In 1925, the winery of Anton and Carl Finkenauer was split as the two brothers decided to go their own way. Today, Weingut Anton Finkenauer is a family-run company found in the Nahe region of Germany, producing an annual volume of 60,000 bottles per year. The Finkenauer family are aiming to produce delicious wines at an approachable price tag.
The grapes are cool-fermented to retain good fruit character, which balances with the high acidity Nahe's Riesling grapes can achieve. The current winemaker is Hans Anton Finkenauer. "Kreuznacher" refers to their single estate vineyard, making high quality Trocken - "dry" - Riesling.
