Gold, Decanter 2020. Created by Juraj Sladic, head winemaker at Testament, this 100% Posip showcases the indigenous grape variety at its best, a mouth-wateringly bright and exotic white wine packed with fruit. Planted on rocky soils, the vines ripen slowly, which is important in a hot climate like Dalmatia. It ensures there’s a delightful balance between fruit sweetness and good acidity. We discovered Testament wines at an international wine fair and loved their unique character, especially the Posip, so we worked with our sister company Croatian Fine Wines to bring them into the UK. The Posip is straw-gold with notes of red apple, juicy pear and camomile.
