Dominic Higham, Former Sales Manager
Dominic Higham is a banker and financial advisor who joined the company in 2017 with a passion for people. Dom managed our client relationships and was seen at many of our events chatting about our wines and the ethos behind Novel Wines. A proper enthusiast, Dom has been converted into the wine world and loves to try new styles and expressions of wine but ultimately loves the stories behind every bottle. After gaining impressive qualifications, Dom left Novel Wines in 2019 to pursue a financial career in London.

Favourite wine? It's got to be the rich and spicy Bolyki Bull's Blood Bikaver from Eger. What a wine! There's also a great story behind it about the Hungarian knights full of red wine in their beards.
Favourite food? I'm going to go classic and say rump steak - cooked rare. If we're going all out, it's got to be paired with Antigua Bodega Stagnari's Prima Donna Tannat.
Best cheese and wine combo? Ben's all about Brie and rosé but for me, a deliciously ripe Brie paired with something like Terra Tangra Organic Winemaker's Selection is bliss. Jammy red wine and creamy, indulgent cheese? Yes, please.
Outside of work I like to… Well with all the fine wine and fabulous food pairings you’ve recommended to me I’ve had to take up running! Aha, apart from that a game of football or some pub grub is perfect.
