Marina Pellegrini is the first member of the team to join Ben & Gyorgy in April 2018. Marina has an MSc. in Plant Genetics and is currently studying an MA in Law at the University of Bristol. Marina looks after our retail customers and marketing communication, inspired by her passion for great food and wine. Originally from Italy, Marina has travelled the world and has lived in Switzerland and Wales. Today she resides in the foodie city of Bristol. Read a bit more about her here.

Favourite wine? I like the rich Greek white wine Ktima Biblia Chora Ovilos Barrel-Fermented Assyrtiko/Semillon. The bottle is also very elegant and attractive. It's a taste of pure luxury!
Favourite food? Pumpkin gnocchi with sage butter and smoked ricotta shavings. It's a lovely dish, common in my home region, and would go very well with a big buttery white wine like the Domaine Koquelicot Belaigra Grand Cru, or my favourite Greek white.
Best cheese and wine combo? Ever since I first tasted it there's only one: Manchego and English fizz. It works brilliantly! The very limited edition Sutton Ridge Dewdown Yeo Valley Sparkling is a particularly good match - and maybe add a little quince jelly, too.
Outside of work I like to… Read, go to the cinema, practice yoga and, of course, pet cats!
What’s the next big thing? I like looking at inventions and I think biodegradable dental floss is going to be massive. Watch this space.
