A deep Mexican red wine bursting with bright berry fruits over smoky and earthy tannins.
L. A. Cetto Petite Sirah is a dry red wine from Baja California, Mexico. It's 100% Petite Sirah with 14.0% abv.
Not to be confused with Syrah, Petite Sirah is a different grape variety that thrives on the high altitude, arid soils of Baja California along Mexico's Pacific coast. There's less than 10,000 acres of Petite Sirah worldwide, so this is a rare treat! Winemaker Camillo Magoni's version is an instant winner! A medium-full bodied red wine full of plums, blueberries and redcurrants over an earthy backbone. It's silky-smooth with a warming, long finish and a hint of smoke.
Pairs beautifully with: Roasted pork, BBQ beef or burgers, black bean or rabbit stew, stuffed peppers and caramelised onions.
Cheese pairing: Aged Gouda, melted Swiss cheese, or Camembert.
