Georgiev & Milkov is an exciting project set-up by Petar Georgiev and Radostin Milkov, who gained their experience in various vintages around the world before deciding that local varieties like Mavrud and Rubin should get the attention they deserve. They purchased 40-year-old vines of Mavrud near the village of Novi Izvor and similar aged Rubin vines near Brestovitsa. In 2020, they began bottling a third indigenous grape: Red Misket.
