Reduced to clear. Cider that's so refreshing!
Abel Methode Cider is a dry, vintage cider from Nelson, New Zealand, with 7.0% abv. Suitable for Vegans. Gluten free.
International Cider of the Year, Real Cider Reviews Australia. One of our most exciting ciders, made from a blend of hand-picked apples and pears in Nelson, New Zealand. Some of the heritage apple varieties have grown here for over 120 years, and include Cox's Orange Pippin, Kingston Black, Foxwhelp, Bisquet, Sturmer, Winter Cole, Winter Nellis and others. The apples and pears are fermented in stainless steel to extract true fruit character and then aged for one year before undergoing a secondary fermentation, like Champagne, in bottle for 12-18 months prior the release. The resulting cider is bone dry, refreshing and delicious. Think green apples, citrus, sherbet, pear, bread and biscuit with a mouth-watering tang to finish.
Pairs beautifully with: Oysters, baked salmon and new potatoes, pork belly, charcuterie or fresh and spicy soups.
Cheese pairing: Manchego cheese.
