Tringario Ludopata Marselan is a dry red wine from Valle de Colchagua, Chile. It's 100% Marselan with 14.5% abv. Suitable for Vegans.

Tringario is a small family winery owned by Jose & Trini, founded in 2015. Aiming to make wines with “the shackles off”, it is unusual to see a single variety Marselan outside of China. This French grape is thick skinned and deeply flavoured. Named “Ludopata”, which means “Gambler”, the family decided to ferment and mature the wine entirely in concrete eggs under temperature control. This gives them a beautiful precision and an intense, more mineral character thanks to a gentle micro-oxidation. There’s no oak, so plenty of purity. Only 5,000 bottles were made.

Pairs beautifully with: Stick glaze pork, cheesy lasagne or aubergine moussaka, smoky chilli con carne, beef brisket, or roast beef and spuds cooked in duck fat.

Cheese pairing: Comte or Mahon Menorca Curado.
