Istvan Szepy
Described as a "genius" by Jancis Robinson in 2010, winemaker Istvan Szepsy is at the forefront of Tokaj's best dry and sweet styles of wine. Szepsy carries the same name as the man who created the Aszu method for sweet Tokajis in the seventeenth century. Today, Szepsy turns Hungary's best indigenous varieties - grapes like Furmint - into some of the country's finest wines.
