Ktima Gerovassiliou 'Avaton' is a dry, full-bodied red wine from Macedonia, Greece. It's a blend of Limnio, Mavrotragano & Mavroudi with 14.5% abv. Suitable for Vegans.
Winemaker Evangelos Gerovassiliou's luscious blend of three Greek indigenous varieties grown at his private single vineyard in Epanomi, Macedonia, in northern Greece. The vineyard is surrounded on three sides by the sea, with the west side facing the Thermaic Gulf, Mount Olympus and the beaches of Pieria. Each grape is fermented in small oak casks and matured for 15 months in French oak barrels. The final wine combines raisin, plums, coffee, cacao and spice notes in a polished, unique red wine with smooth tannins.
