St Donat Heavy Rose is a dry rose wine from Lake Balaton, Hungary. It's made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with 13.0% abv.

The winery has wanted to make a rosé in this style for a long time, and 2020 finally gave them the opportunity to have a substantial, full-bodied rosé for the estate. The raw material was the fruit of the Ráta vineyard in Tihany and a large part of cabernet sauvignon. The harvest took place at perfect maturity, just like with red wines. Thanks to the variety, it was not necessary to soak in the skin for a long time. The end result was a concentrated, fruity, incredibly complex rosé.
Like their other items, it was made according to natural wine principles, and was bottled without filtering or clarifying with little sulfur.
