Sabar Pinot Gris 2015, Hungary
Full bodied Pinot Gris with aromas of roasted kernels, sweet spice, vanilla and honeycomb on the nose. Each sip delivers a rounded, textured mouthfeel with ripe peach, pear, sweet grapefruit and a spicy finish. Fermented for richness in 500 litre toasted, oak barrels and aged for six months before bottling.
Pairs beautifully with: Creamy carbonara, smoky pancetta and roasted chicken, cheese toasties or cheesy lasagne.
Cheese pairing: Black Bomber cheddar, Red Leicester cheese or extra mature farmhouse cheddar.
