Guaspari Vista de Serra is a full-bodied dry red wine from São Paulo, Brazil. It's 100% Syrah with 14.0% abv. Suitable for Vegans.

95pts, Decanter (for the 2017 vintage). Aromas of clove, forest fruits and dried herbs lead into a rich, pure palate with flecks of vanilla, wood spice and crushed berries. Savoury and earthy on the finish. Matured for 17 months in French barriques and rested for a further 9 months before its bottled, allowing the wine to come together into a well-formed, luscious red wine. Made from Syrah vines that sit 900-1300m above sea level, where they are allowed to late ripen and become more concentrated.

You'll like this if you like... Rhone Syrah, or old world Malbec.

Pairs beautifully with: Fillet steak and potato dauphinoise, spiced lamb rack, grilled aubergine, or rich lasagne.

Cheese pairing: Nutty, mature Comte.
