Varietal Furmint sourced from four vineyards on the western part of Tokaj, using the crus Betsek, Király, Zafír, and Pécsi. It is a truly volcanic style of Furmint, combining old vines, rocky and loess soils and Furmint’s characterful salinity. Pressed in traditional vertical presses and then aged as a cuvee in Hungarian oak for 6 months. A great mix of ripe peach, juicy pear, lemon citrus and hints of tropical fruit. A long, fruity finish.
Pairs beautifully with: Pasta bake, falafel and chips, grilled halloumi, chicken and leek pie, or seafood paella.
