Duzsi Tamas Szekszard Red Cuvee is a dry, medium-full bodied red wine from Szekszard, Hungary. It's a blend of Kekfrankos, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir with 12.5% abv. Suitable for Vegetarians.
Duzsi was Winemaker of the Year in Hungary in 2014 and he continues his reputation as one of Szekszard's leading winemakers today. Sourcing grapes from 60 hectares of rolling vines in southern Hungary, including from his own estate, this cuvee is partially aged in wooden barrels following fermentation. Medium ruby with ripe blackberry, blueberry and cherry aromas over earthy and dark chocolate notes.
You'll like this if you like... Right bank, fruit-led Bordeaux blends.
Pairs beautifully with: Pan-roast pigeon, gamekeeper's pie, venison kofta, or spaghetti bolognese.
