Demetervin Furmint 2017, Mad, Tokaj

Dry white wine, 75cl. 100% Furmint from Tokaj, Hungary. 13.0% ABV. Suitable for Vegans. Organic / Biodynamic.

Created by Endre Demeter, this dry Furmint is sourced from a family of different vineyards around Mad village, occupying some of the finest sites in Tokaj. Straw-coloured with aromas of sliced apple. On the palate the wine is richly flavoured with notes of red apples, peach and quince. It's mineral and racy too, so the finish will stay with you for a while!

You'll like this if you like... A little taste of luxury like Burgundy white wines (unoaked).

Pairs beautifully with: Pate, thyme-grilled pork chops, oily fish like mackerel, wild boar stew, or roast duck.

Cheese pairing: Cheddar or Comté.
