An exceptional, rich fizz with a moreish palate full of peaches and toasted brioche.
Familia Geisse Extra Brut is a full-bodied dry sparkling wine from Pinto Bandeira in Bento Goncalves, Brazil. It's a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with 12.0% abv. Suitable for Vegans.
Mario Geisse, who trained with Moet & Chandon Brasil in the 1970s, founded Familia Geisse, which is now in the hands of his two sons. The winery only produces quality traditional method sparkling wines with fruit grown at 800m altitude. Strong autolytic character of toasted brioche, biscuits and whipped butter lead on the nose with a rich palate of peach, apricot and lemon citrus over a creamy-soft mousse. The finish is long and sherbet-like.
