Aromas of ripe, sweet tropical fruits with a hint of almond and spice.
Bussay Tramini is an off-dry white wine from Zala, Lake Balaton, Hungary. It is 100% Tramini with 13.5% abv. Suitable for Vegans.
Grown on Kövecs Hill in Csörnyeföld, south west of the Lake of Balaton, this varietal Hungarian Traminija leads with aromas of roses, fresh apricots and incense. The grapes are pressed and spontaneously ferment with wild years in 1,000 litre oak barrels before being aged for a year. The resulting wine has flavours of cantaloupe melon and pineapple, full of spice (allspice, ginger and incense) and creamy on the finish.
You'll like this if you like... Gewurztraminer, Muscat or Torrontés. For the fan of sweeter, more aromatic wines.
Pairs beautifully with: Pan seared scallops, coconut curries, pulled pork, chicken breast wrapped in bacon with creamy sauce and oven-baked, or Moroccan meze with dried fruits and nuts.
Cheese pairing: Creamy Brie.
