Novel Wines has the UK’s most unique wine list and runs some of the best-reviewed wine tasting parties in Bath, Bristol and the south west.

Each tasting is personally-tailored to you and your guests, and run by one of our wine experts. We take the stress out of hosting by providing all the wines, glassware, tasting notes and spittoons, so you can sit back, relax and fully enjoy the party.

If you fancy something extra, we can pair cheese, chocolate or charcuterie with each wine to make the tasting even more indulgent. We travel to you and host the wine tasting in the comfort of your own home or a venue you've booked for the experience. We guarantee you'll have a night to remember!

Our most popular package, the Bronze Wine Tasting offers an unrivalled collection of quality wines for its price. We’ll taste 6 wines from our unique wine list which have been tailored to your palate. We can even try one of them blind for an extra challenge!

What better way to kick off a party than popping open a bottle of delicious English sparkling? That’s exactly how this package starts. It’s followed by 5 premium wines, each selected to let your party explore wines they’ve never tried before.

For the connoisseur. This package only includes the most luxurious vintage and rare wines, handpicked for a discerning palate. We’ll take you on a journey of class, elegance and quality, showcasing the best wines in their field.

Cocktail Tasting Package

£50 per person. Includes 5 cocktails, hosting, glassware, tasting notes and spittoons.

Terms and conditions of booking

Deposit: You will need to pay a deposit equal to 25% of your total booking to confirm the time and dates of your choosing. This deposit is refundable outside of the cancellation period if you choose not to go ahead with the booking.

Balance Payment: The remaining total balance must be paid 14 days prior to your event. This allows us to secure the wines, venue and other amenities that ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully for you.

Payment types accepted: We accept payment by BACS via an invoice or we can take payment over the phone. All major debit and credit cards are accepted. 

Cancellation: You may cancel your booking up to 28 days before the event. Please give written notice by email and ensure we have received your cancellation request. You can always call us on 01225667311. Your deposit will be refunded if cancelled 28 days before your event.

Venue fee: Bookings may be subject to a venue fee if you book at a popular time such as Friday or Saturday and need us to secure a venue for you. We have great relationships in Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, Oxford and Cambridge so the venue is unlikely to be expensive.

Travel fee: All tastings booked in Bath + 1 mile radius are catered with no travel fee. Any address beyond that is charged a standard rate of £40. We cater UK wide but addresses further than 60 miles may incur extra fees.
