Founded in 1778, Weingut Theodorus is a 230 year old family-owned wine estate that is today run by Thomas Lergenmüller.  Lergenmüller took over from his parents, Theo and Inge, in 1996 and has been dedicated to ecological principles, converting the entire 14 hectares of vine to certified-organic cultivation in 2011. All the fruit is meticulously selected and hand-harvested from low yields in some of the area's best parcels of land around the village of Hainfield.
