TR Muvek Furmint is a dry white wine from Tokaj, Hungary. It's 100% Furmint with 14.0% abv. Suitable for Vegans.

Introducing the young wine enthusiasts Tállya Radicals (or "TR") who are seeking to rejuvenate the village of Tállya in Tokaj. They are creating delicious wine with an organic approach, working in the 3.5 hectare Palota vineyard home to 15-40 year-old vines. The vineyard is volcanic, which helps Furmint slow-ripen and develop the ideal balance between sugars and acidity. TR have a philosophy of low intervention in the winery to ensure the final product showcases the terroir, vintage and character of the unique Palota vines. Their flagship Furmint leads with a nose of citrus, blossom and quince, following through in a palate that's deep with peach, green apple, juicy pear and hints of almonds. 70% of the wine is matured on its lees with 30% maturing in new and used Hungarian oak barrels, adding a softness to the texture and finish.

Pairs beautifully with: Grilled white fish, for example trout with almonds, white meat (especially pork), fresh salad with herbs or grilled vegetables, goat cheese pies, or try with beetroot curry.
