An easy wine to love, this smooth, chocolatey and fruity red wine is a steal at this price.

Dry red wine, 75cl. Full bodied 100% Touriga Nacional from Douro, Portugal. 14.0% ABV. Suitable for Vegetarians.

Think blackberries, dark chocolate and a lashing of luscious red plum. Matured in a mix of second and third use French oak, this smooth and silky red wine has plenty to give. It's made by the only winemaker to be named 'Producer of the Year' by Revista de Vinhos on 2 occasions (1999 & 2006), Domingos Alves de Sousa. 

You'll like this if you like... Rioja Reserva (or any full-bodied Spanish Tempranillo), Malbec or Califonian Cabernet. Also a great still wine choice for port lovers looking for a dinner red wine.

Pairs beautifully with: Beef tenderloin and blue cheese mash, spicy pork sausages, baked potato topped with a rich bean stew, Beluga lentils, Shepherd's pie topped with Celeriac mash or a good old-fashioned steak and ale pie.
