Mór, Hungary

The Mór valley is located in western Hungary about half way between the Lake of Balaton and Budapest. It's a small wine-making region specialising in the indigenous grape variety Ezerjo, which creates intensely fruity and crispy white wines or some sweet styles. The region can trace its wine history back to the Roman period. Today wine is celebrated each year in the Wine Days of Mór festival.
