Our range of Slovenian wines from winemaker Matija Žerjav, grown in the cool climate region of Stajerska at the extreme northeastern portion of Slovenia. Matic Wines are natural and use only organic and biodynamic methods on the 9 hectare estate. Matija Žerjav is part of a new wave of young, ambitious winemakers in Slovenia who, while respecting history, are not content with the status quo and therefore an exciting period of experimentation and innovation is abuzz with Slovenian winemaking.
