Guliev Tremelov

Guliev Tremelov began its story 100 years ago when wine-maker Vartan Guliashvili finished planting his vineyard on the outskirts of Telavi, the ancient city of Georgian winemakers. For Guliashvili, wine-making was a labour of love and his dedication to quality wine-making was passed to his children.

Ruben Vartanovich Guliev became the first in the dynasty to plant grapes outside of Georgia. Ruben decided to plant his vines in Ukraine and would later win two Orders of the Red Banner of Labour. Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, Ruben and his son Robert Guliev have explored as many wine-producing regions as possible to become experts in their craft. The idea for the creation of The Guliev-branded wines belongs to Robert, who today chooses only the finest grapes for his trademark wines.
