Guaspari is a young, critically-acclaimed winery located on the site of an old coffee plantation in the highlands of São Paulo state. Its vines sit 900-1200m above sea level on granite soils. It is generally too hot to harvest the grapes, and sometimes too wet, so they are left on the vines, pruned and then harvested later during the cooler and drier months of July and August.
