Distiller Charles Maxwell helped Foxdenton's family owners create this powerful export-strength gin. Distilled with juniper, coriander seeds, lemon peel, lime flower, angelica and orris root. '48' is creamy, clean and elegantly made with flavours of juniper and citrus. A little floral and bone dry when tasted neat and delicious in a long G&T.

50ml of '48' London Dry Gin poured into a highball tall glass over ice; squeeze half a lime, add 1tsp of granulated sugar and stir. Top up with quality tonic.
