Chamlija Mutesekkir Blanc de Blancs is a dry white wine from Kirklareli Provence, Turkey. It's a blend of Albariño, Narince and Chardonnay with 13.7% abv. Suitable for Vegans.
The Chamlija winery is owned by Mustafa Camlica and named after his daughter, who designs all the labels for the winery’s bottles. All Chamlija’s vineyards are in Kirklareli Province. The Bulgarian name of Kirklareli was Lozengrad, which means "The city of Vines". Chamlija practice high density viticulture and there as many as 10,000 vines per hectare in some locations. This competitive growing space means the roots go deep into the 350 million year old granite soils, which also have excellent drainage, allowing for intensely fresh but characterful fruit. Zingy with notes of apples, papaya, grapefruit, and melon.
You'll like this if you like... Sauvignon Blanc or Chablis.
Pairs beautifully with: Grilled Mediterranean sea bream, feta Greek salad, pork chops with rosemary, fresh pesto pasta dishes, or vegetable stir fries.
Cheese pairing: Goat's cheese.
