A punchy Gruner Veltliner from fourth-generation Austrian winemaker Anton Bauer, based in Wagram. Bauer took over the family winery in 1992 with just over 3 hectares and has grown the estate to over 29 hectares today. All of the fruit is hand-harvested and aim to showcase the region's typicality. The grapes are sorted so that only the best fruit is used. Bauer's Gruner Veltliner leads with an attractive nose of orchard fruit and spices, pepper and nuts. On the palate it's a flavourful apple bouquet. Full of finesse.
