Just landed! We're excited to grow our range of Cornish wines with two new still wines from Bob & Sam Lindo's Camel Valley Vineyard near Bodmin.
Camel Valley is a family-run vineyard opened by Rick Stein in 1989, and owned by the Lindo family. Bob, an ex-RAF pilot, and his son Sam have focused on producing world-class English wines and became the first English vineyard to receive Her Majesty's By Royal Appointment.
We have sold Camel Valley's flagship 'Cornwall' Brut since we started Novel Wines in 2016, but now we're proud to share two more wines from this multi-award-winning winery:
Reportedly served at 10 Downing Street by the prime minister for visiting dignitaries and fellow MPs, the Atlantic Dry is a celebration of true Cornish winemaking. Named after the Atlantic sea that laps at the Cornish coast, this blend of Bacchus, Reichensteiner and Chardonnay is clean and fresh with notes of mouth-watering apricot and lime over apple skins. Wonderful with fresh fish, as you might expect! Read more and buy a bottle here.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir and cool fermented to ensure all that precious fruit flavour is preserved, this rose wine is light and fresh with gorgeous aromas of raspberries, strawberries and lemon. A very 'English' pink! Marvellous with trout and new potatoes, Cornish Brie, or falafel. Give it a go here.
